27th Avenue Beach Approach

Please note: playground construction work is currently underway at 27th Avenue Beachfront Park. During this time, parking lot access will be from 28th Avenue and access from the lot to the beach and boardwalk will be through the basketball court. The city will maintain 90-100 parking spaces for public use and pay parking will continue to be enforced for unregistered vehicles. 

A drive on beach approach. There is a $20 per day per vehicle access fee to drive on the beach. This includes one same-day, re-entry. Annual beach passes are $25 for Volusia County residents and $100 for non-residents. Please be a responsible beach driver by driving only in designated areas and observing the speed limit. The driving areas are designated by signs and wooden posts. Parking is allowed east, or seaward, of the posts. The beach is open to vehicles from sunrise to sunset Nov. 1 through April 30, and from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. May 1 through Oct. 31. In addition to this, there is a beachfront parking lot as well. There is a $20 daily rate to park here, or non-Volusia County residents can purchase an annual parking pass for $100.
