Making Memories Since 1928
Flagler Tavern has been a must-visit stop for locals, families, beach-goers and music lovers for decades. From the quiet intimacy of The Bounty Speakeasy upstairs to the busy neighborhood tavern that transforms into a night club, we truly offer something for everyone. The original building was built as a family home in 1928 and housed various businesses throughout the years, including a restaurant and tavern for well over 30 years. Many locals have grown up at the Tavern, from their first jobs, first dates, graduation parties and reunions, to weddings, birth announcements, anniversaries and retirement parties. For regular returning visitors, snow birds and vacationers, the Tavern has remained the one constant, with familiar faces behind the bar in the ever-changing landscape of New Smyrna Beach.

Our current ownership has enhanced the Tavern legacy with the addition of the Bounty Speakeasy on the second floor, extensive kitchen expansion and infrastructure upgrades. A huge emergency generator was added allowing us to provide a safe haven, before and after recent hurricanes, offering air conditioning, hot food and a libation or two while beachside residents waited for the power to come back on.

So, whether it’s providing a safe place after a storm, a familiar watering hole for a reunion, a night out on the town, a casual lunch on the deck, or your regular happy hour, The Flagler Tavern awaits your next visit with open arms.
